One of the old biddies that used to work for me turned me on to Ree. I've tried a number of her recipes and have yet to be disappointed. She makes good food for good people; self-described as "Simple, but Sumptuous". She's a professed city gal who married a real life cowboy and moved to a desolate, yet beautiful spot in Oklahoma to raise kids and be a rancher's wife. From all accounts, she's done well at both. As a necessary means to that end she's also developed some good cooking. Her "Cajun Chicken Pasta" is next on my list.

The Food Network recently picked her up for a regular show (Saturdays, 11:30 Eastern) shot at their home on the range and so far I like it. Reminds me of folks I knew when I worked and lived there.

Wow that do look good, infact just looking at the recipe thumb nails that was the first dish I clicked on "Cajun Chicken Pasta"

but I couldn't smell it.
