Blueridge
Great!!! That is the same weekend as the Memphis Charity Challenge, which I am already registered to attend. Maybe another year.
Greg Bell
Blueridge Sorry that you cant make it. We have a fair amount of IDPA matches in TN that we had to juggle dates to avoid stepping on each others matches. We hope for a bit more favorable date next year. HOGNUT
When I put the 2011 schedule together back in October 2010, the main goal was not to interfere with the other 9 matches that is within a 4 hour drive. There was no sense to put two sanctioned events in the same month. I am hoping to have more sponsors shortly for our 1st sanctioned event. I will keep everyone aware of the status. J. HOGNUT
We are 1 week away from the September 30th price increase. There is no sense in shooting the match and paying more than needed. Hope to see you there! Edited September 23, 2011 by HOGNUT

HOGNUT
If you are working the match, we still need your applications send in immediately. We need to true up the numbers so that we can plan accordingly with awards. All match officials should have sent in their applications before the 1st deadline of September 30th. I have asked trusted SO in the area and at other clubs to work the match and you may not get a spot if you don't turn it in within reasonable time. All postmarked mailed entries will be honored at the lower rate if mailed on or before September 30th. Anything marked on or after October 1st will be 90.00 per entry. HOGNUT
Don't you hate wasting money on items that you will NEVER see a benefit from: SHIPPING!!!!! Target Barn will be at the range to sell (IDPA and USPSA if needed) targets and pasters to any club that needs to save on normal shipping cost. The average price is 297.50 per 500 targets plus 120.00 shipping(62.00 per 100 targets plus shipping). This ends of being around 0.82-0.86 per target. Mr. Zimmerman is waiving the shipping/delivery fee and charging 570.00 per 1000 targets. This is 0.57 per target. He has 13,000 targets he can bring. This is a WIN-WIN situation for all those that need to watch club operating expenses. We had to place three separate orders because we did not keep up target consumption properly. NEVER AGAIN! We hope that all club representatives attending the match will participate in some sort. It will be a shame that we can not make this worthwhile and everlasting for Target Barn to sponsor matches in our area. Please send all order requests to President@mctsclub.com so that I may get these handled before the match. We look forward to saving all of the regional 14 IDPA clubs in TN and our neighbors. HOGNUT
Registrations are flooding in nicely before the early deadline(especially the last Thursday and Friday). I am hoping we do not cut off registrations(walk-ins) because this was not our original intention. This may be premature. As clubs are watching all of their operating expenses this was a win - win for all parties. However with the 49 clubs within the 7-9 states, there are simply not enough committed clubs willing to save on shipping costs for targets and pasters with Target Barn. Only 5 clubs committed in the offer(1 was iffy). This will not be worth any vendor to waste advertising and transportation costs for the low turnout for club savings. Now I understand that we all may have different vendors we buy supplies from but there will not be a better deal on IDPA targets in the area. I will be contacting the sponsor tomorrow to discuss as I feel that we will not be able to make this trip worthwhile for his business. I am sorry about this as this was a prize sponsor of the match as well as a match sponsor. That was money we did not need to lose as we will probably will have to purchase the targets for the match. I run a small match in North Alabama and do need targets, but I don't need 500 at one time, that's 2+ years worth for me. If they are availalbe in smaller lots, I can take 200 - 250. Thanks
HOGNUT
They are in smaller lots so this will not be a problem. He has 13K worth of targets available and I have the following numbers accounted for: Music City Tactical Shooters - 1500 to 2000 for the 2012 year Michael Bresson - 1000 Green River Gun Club - 500 Gallatin Gun Club - 500 Tennessee Sports Foundation - 300 Middle Tennessee Shooters - 1000 minimum but could possibly do more Rob Tompkins club - 200 to 250 These can be bought for personal use also, so it is open to all competitors. Please email me at President@mctsclub.com with contact information and I will get it handled after speaking with Mr. Zimmerman.
HOGNUT
We are about 1 month away from the 2011 Music City Cup. Hope to see you there! I had a moment to speak to Mr. Zimmerman yesterday and regardless of the number of clubs participating the savings, he will be there! That says a lot about his dedication in giving back to the shooting sports. He will bring enough for the clubs that have committed already and very little more unless told otherwise. Get in them orders today because you WILL NOT see a better deal on IDPA targets(Email me at President@mctsclub.com).
