lora
We just had our State PPC match today(civilian version). Law Enforcement people are welcome too. There were lots of trophies and cash, a big prize table (everyone went to the prize table 4 or 5 times), a regular and open class match and a barbequed brisket lunch with all the barbeque sides. A great time was had by all! This was all with 16 shooters. We keep all entry fees over and above expenses through the year to put on the State Championship with. WOW!! You guys are very lucky to have such a great group for that participation.
lora
I believe retired LEO's are eligible. I have seen some compete in matches in NM. I understand you may see retirees, but the rules that I've read indicate, to be legitimate, you must be full-time. That's my big problem with the NRA in this discipline. I don't have any local PPC matches but I would love to travel to a regional or national as a retiree but not if I can't win fairly or legitamately. okshootist
Retirees are accepted under rule 2.4.d. There is also a "High Retired" category at Nationals.
