Nik Habicht
I've had that happen with a different vendor, who when I called also immediately shipped replacements. The vendor mentioned that the original shipment most likely got caught and sliced by the sorting machine -- so it may not have been theft..... I still hate that you were disappointed and at least temporarily inconvenienced....
gohuskers
Yep had a motorcycle helmet stolen by post office employees in New Jersey. Grrrrr.
whitedog
As a postal employee.....certain size and shape packages are more prone to damage. What you describe probably happened on what's called a bundle sorter. Certain machines when they mangled packages do leave what looks exactly like a razor blade mark. It is highly doubtful,in my opinion, that a postal employee would risk a 50k job and federal charges. Just my opinion.
