Sarge Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 In my very limited experience shooting open the ports get carbon build up from the gas. As long as no exposed lead bases are being shot, that is. Some say they never clean them but my ports are nasty and have some green muck actually showing up as well. I'm going to put a bore brush in a dremel and clean them out with some solvent. I read that spraying Dillon case lube in the ports before a match will make them easier to clean when you get around to it. I'm going to try that this weekend.
