stainless cleaning Medea

hi guys purchased 2 lbs. of assorted stainless cleaning medea for vibrating cleaner is there any pros or cons about using this? have done internet search and found very little info on it,or did i just waist money. the site reviews were good about it but they could have been blowing there own horn.

Don't think the stainless steel media is going to work in a vibrating cleaner but what do I know.

well i will post my results on there site where purchased they say tumbler or vibratory

For our purposes (cleaning brass) you're supposed to use it in combination with water in a rotary tumbler.

well looks like i spent money on something thats not going to do me much good unless i buy a tumbler now.thats what i get for not researching it better ,thanks guys

It shouldn't be too hard to sell though - the stuff lasts forever.

I would buy it from you but I'm not going to get into stainless tumbling until my vibratory tumbler dies.

I say you hold onto it until you get a rotary (if you're planning on it) or sell it to someone who is about to.

Have you tried it in your vibratory cleaner? It might work, but you won't know unless your try it.

Yup - not only that, it would take a LONG time to have any effect.

Wet tumbling SS media in the proper tumbler takes 4 hours.

Remember that you're adding SS media, water, and brass. I'm not too sure how your tumbler would react with water being put in it.
