A good way to do this is to get a MGI Modular lower and bolt....then you can run ak mags.

I have actually been looking at m g I .,what kind of experience do you have with this platform ?

I have one, but I haven't used it yet. From what I heard they work well. I know a guy who used the ak module for a full auto gun and it ran fine with ak stick mags and drum mags.

I have one i built up from a colt upper and an AR-47 lower,

takes ak mags. Elite iron can on the front, and my own handloads

make it a really fun rifle.

Then I have normal AR-15 with 7.62x39 (Colt 16" barrel)upper

Then I have DPMS pump action rifle with 7.62x39 upper
