gregdavidl
Those sort of bottles are quite common in Mexico. My brother-in-law (who lives in Guadalajara) has given me several different ones for my collection. You can also get some really nice ceramic bottles (and spend quite a bit of money). Tequila is almost like a religon in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
blaster113
ha ha, thats some cool stuff. I would buy some just for the bottle, regardless how nasty the tequila was

carter300
interesting marketing... They suckered me into one this April when I was down there, looks like a 1911. Had some revolver ones also.
shooting for M
I saw a Vodka bottle that was shaped like an AK a while back...sounds like you could start a pretty neat collection.
rfwobbly
Those are actually made and sold in the US. BATF agents allow them to be purchased and then smuggled across the border into Mexico. The BATF then closely monitors those bottles to make sure only card-carrying drug cartel members have them. Congress is investigating. I think it was called "Project Gun Rummy", or something like that. When Tequila is outlawed, only teenagers will have Tequila.
