Doggorloader Posted April 22, 2004 Share Posted April 22, 2004 Rufus: I have 500 pcs each of 45 ACP and 44 Mag that I use for practice or when I don't care if I lose it or not. The 45 ACP cases have been loaded now seven times each with 4.6 grains of Titegroup and I'm on the ninth load on the 44 cases using 24.8 grains of H110 and haven't had a single problem or case mouth split yet. They are about .010 different in length to start with than my Winchester cases so I have to remember to adjust the crimp on the 44 cause it makes a difference. For me they have worked out great so far. I'm tempted to toss the 44 cases at ten firings but we'll see how they look. I also was at my distributor this week for powder and he had Magtec 45 ACP 230 grain FMJ for $56 a thousand and 44 Mag 240 gr JHP at $60 a thousand on a clearance.
