lawboy
Braved the 100-degree weather today to chrono some loads so I KNOW what I have rather than guessing. Load No. 1: Mihec custom mould 203gr LSWC (wheelweight metal) Mixed brass Tula LP Primer 4.6grs Bullseye OAL 1.229 10 shots, Average 847.8 extreme spread 45 High 866.1 Low 821.1 Power Factor 172. Load No. 2: RCBS 45-230-RN 238gr LRN (wheelweight metal) Mixed brass Tula LP Primer 4.6grs Bullseye OAL 1.213 10 shots, Average 828.3 extreme spread 34 High 842.1 Low 807.8 Power Factor 197. RePete
My original load was 230gr LRN 4.8gr/Bullseye Mixed brass FC Primer OAL = 1.250" PF'd at 194 shot through an STI Trojan. I dropped the load to 4.4gr/Bullseye and got a PF of 177. This is now my to go load.
