Beautiful work there. I've worked with alot of tropical exotic hardwoods and that is one I haven't. Gonna have to find some now. Is that stained? Thanks, he's a master cabinet maker and does some fantastic work in custom homes around the Sandy Ego area. No, it's just finished in a semi-gloss lacquer. He's sending me enough of the same wood (which he's had stashed in his shop for 30+ years) to have some matching 1911 stocks made.
