RangerTrace Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 (edited) The training class with Chris Tilley is going to take place at Brandon Strayer's private range the weekend before the Double Tap Championship. Here are the details: Saturday May 28th & Sunday May 29th 10am - 5pm with a break for lunch both days 8 students maximum @ $350 per student. Bring 1000 rounds of ammo, at least 4 magazines and a pistol that functions. All divisions except revolver... Day 1 techniques: stance transitions grip trigger control sights draws strong hand weak hand magazine loads movement in/out positions kneeling prone Day 2 execution of techniques on stages... scoring hit factor stage break down mental prep dealing with stress dealing with un-planned events (malfunctions etc.) Please PM me if you are interested so I can reserve your spot. FYI, Millsap is located about 45 minutes West of Fort Worth. The closest lodging would be in Weatherford or Mineral Wells. RangerTrace Posted May 10, 2011 Author Share Posted May 10, 2011 Because of conflicts with the Double Tap RO match and Memorial Day weekend, Chris has moved the dates of the training to June 18th and 19th. The cost will be $400 for two days and the class will still be limited to the first 8 students. Experience level should be "C" class or above.
