NMBOpen
Benelli m2 Field with 3.5 MOA Docter sight on Burris SpeedBead mount. Target at 50y. POI is 18" above POA and dot is as far down as adjusting screw allows. Senior moment or am I on the wrong track?

NMBOpen
I tried that. Possible that my adjustment wasn't enough to get back on paper. Ran out of slugs and patience today.
Jesse Tischauser
Does it shoot that high with the normal sights?
NMBOpen
Does it shoot that high with the normal sights? Triangle fiber optic tip was 3" high. Got as close as 8" high with dot. Seems moving POA to POI is the thing to do, like I do for laser bore sighter. DOH!
ChuckS
Yup, either move the dot to where the slugs are landing, bend the barrel to move the POI or some combination of both. On another note, I did not know that the Docter and the Burris mount were compatible. It is possible to have issue with the mounting give a large difference with the Docter. The book says you should have 4 degrees of elevation available. That is about 125" at 50 yards!
