Wilson 47T sticky follower

I just picked up some Wilson 47T (10 round) mags and have been having some issues with them. I loaded them up and let them sit for a week or so and took them out to test them after a match on Sun., they worked pretty good (2 ftf's but my gun was pretty dirty and a bit dry). When I got home I disassembled them and cleaned them. After reassembling the 9th round was tought to get in and the 10th was really hard to get in. What am I doing wrong? I've heard that the followers can use some work (600 grit sandpaper) to get them to run smooth. When I had the spring out the follower was not moving smoothly in the tube like my 47d's do. It feels like the follower is binding up when it is getting down to the bottom of the tube. Help...

A couple things to check for:

Look for, and trim any "flashing" on the followers...

Be sure the correct end of the spring goes into the follower...

I would buff instead of sanding the sides of the follower...

Clean any factory residue inside the tube...

Leave them loaded up longer...

10 round springs are strong.

My gun (.45 acp) would not feed the 10 rounders, with a 14# recoil spring.

When I went back to a 16#, they fed fine...

One thing good about buying high end mags, if you can't get them working, call Wilson.

They will help you out...

THanks for the info, I have some plastic polish that might work good. Ill try that before I do anything drastic.
