bisonresq
Can I shorten a Hornady Case Feeder to fit in a tighter space?
98sr20ve
How much do you need to shorten it? Or how much height do you have?
Waldog
You can probably shorten a little. But, not much as the powder measure will interfere.
bisonresq
I'd love to shorten it about 8-12 inches. How would this effect the powder measure?
98sr20ve
It shouldn't even come close to the powder measure. Especially if you have the powder measure in station 3 instead of 2. But even 2 should be ok. Biggest issue is that the casefeeder shuttle is attached to the bar that hold the bowl. You really can't shorten it with out changineg that and you can't move that at all. So you would need to keep the existing bar in place, cut it off above the shuttle, get a new bar to hold the bowl lower. It would take some work but it's doable.
