solaritx
Ok, here is another one. Started with a couple of stovepipe jams every now and again (one in 100 rounds) Now, the spent case is "trapped" horizontal to the next round (that appears to be feeding properly). The case is trapped between the top of the barrel and the slide. Extractor? Ejector? Gun is Spartan, 9 lb recoil spring, 9mm just above IDPA powerfactor. What you think? wide45
....... Possible causes are; Light load or too heavy spring not allowing case to come back far enough to hit the ejector. missing, damaged, or weak extractor not holding the case until it is hit by the ejector. missing or damaged ejector. foilhat
The same thing started with my .45. For the last month it has been the only thing I can count on happening at a match.
Guy Neill
Check the extractor tension as a first suspect. Guy
