Glockster35
The Surefire one works great for me. I have the Taurus one also, but haven't tried it.
soundwave
I like the Surefire one also. I also like and use DryFireTrainer app as it allows you to customize times, targets, and audio. I have programmed it to do random beeps after the "shooters ready...stand by" commands for a duration of 3 minutes. One 3 minute cycle per draw technique feels like pretty solid practice. The only down fall I see in it is lack of IPSC/USPSA target options. So I just use the audio from the app and put some mini IPSC/USPSA targets on my wall when I practice. Also, it was not free, I think it cost 2 or 3 bucks.
NewColonial
Used both the Surefire app and Free Shot Timer on my iPhone 3. Now that I upgraded to iPhone 4, they no longer work. Surefire will pick up no shots, the other on occasion will pick up the first shot. With this experience I've not spent money on any of the non-free timer apps, since they ll probably use the same basic libraries.
