John Thompson
My barrel muzzel has a .701 diameter and it will only allow the attachment of Y compensators and AK style brakes which are quite unsatisfactory of my rifle's intended purpose of work carry first then play. It seems getting a brid cage style brake put on is going to be expensive because of having to modify the barrel so I may have to go without. Who(a reputable smith) can put one on at a resonable price with good turn around time ?
rhino
Kurt Wala has a great reputation ... http://www.kurtskustomfirearms.com/ Question ... why do you think the Y-comp and AK brakes are not satisfactory for carry???
John Thompson
Too loud, too much flash, adds too much length to the barrel.
curtismac
John. Comp fitting can be done on a custom basis at spencer rifle in portland tennessee, call bob at 615 325 3551. He makes an AR comp that is fit to each rifle, he also makes a couple generic sizes 750 and 920. He'll take the bbl fit the comp then give you instruction on how to tune it to your shooting grip and stance. I use them on all 3 of my rifles and have no accuracy problems, I use a 69 grain sierra. curtis mcmahon www.3gunmatch.com
