where could I find training magazines?

like the weighted magazines to use to dry fire and magazine changes. I think I've even seen some that are colored so you don't mix them up with your regular mags...

A couple little problems I've had with the CTRC mags (for the Para. at least). First, they aren't the same length as the 140 mm mags I use in Limited. For me, at least, the mag loads differently if the length and pad are different. Second, they wear out above the mag catch area. I have four mags, and two of them are no longer useable because the area immediately above the catch cutout has been driven in by extended reloading practice, to the point where they no longer stay seated.

For weighting the gun for draws, target transitions, etc., they are great. Just don't use them for reloading drills. I now use my match mags, loaded with dummy rounds, for that.

I agree. I use the CTRC mags in the gun for correct weighting on the draw and for dropping, and 140/170s with dummy rounds for practicing actually getting more ammo into the gun

The CTRC mags are great for dropping on the ground though ... except when your foot get in the way
