which extended grip safety for Spartan?

I prefer a larger "bump" in my grip safety on my 1911's. Which one would you guys suggest (or even better...do you use) for the Spartan?

You could try adding a piece of grip tape to the "bump"

could but prefer to "do it right". Have Smith & Alexander on my Springer. Like the feel of it, but not sure if this would work with a Spartan or if a Wilson or some other might be better fit.

Interesting post, I too would like to know if there are any with a slightly larger pad that are drop in. hope someone has some info thanks.

Ed Brown Hi-Ride Beavertail is a good one and certainly affordable.

I had to have my GS add to the pad on my carry gun. Looks UGLY but works. Probably 3 or more times the height than stock. Wish I could post pictures...maybe I'll try to learn someday.

You could always tune it disengage by merely looking at it. I have to have the safety disengage in less than 1/16" of travel or I won't get it 100% of the time. Combine that with lightening the spring tension and it will still work, but won't take hardly any effort to activate. Either that, or completely eliminate it (competition).
