solaritx
I prefer a larger "bump" in my grip safety on my 1911's. Which one would you guys suggest (or even better...do you use) for the Spartan? Thanks Garry
oak hill
You could try adding a piece of grip tape to the "bump"
solaritx
could but prefer to "do it right". Have Smith & Alexander on my Springer. Like the feel of it, but not sure if this would work with a Spartan or if a Wilson or some other might be better fit. Audifn
Ed Brown Hi-Ride Beavertail is a good one and certainly affordable.
chirpy
I had to have my GS add to the pad on my carry gun. Looks UGLY but works. Probably 3 or more times the height than stock. Wish I could post pictures...maybe I'll try to learn someday. Richard
want2race
You could always tune it disengage by merely looking at it. I have to have the safety disengage in less than 1/16" of travel or I won't get it 100% of the time. Combine that with lightening the spring tension and it will still work, but won't take hardly any effort to activate. Either that, or completely eliminate it (competition).
