NatNat
Tonight we made up this stage. Start from the box, shoot 'em as you see 'em with some charge lines. My question is: "Are you allowed to step straight out of the box or do you need to manurve around the lines and step out to the left." We shoot by IPSC rules NOT USPSA!! This wasn't a match, just some shooting for fun on a wendnesday night. I attached a quick sketch of the stage. (black the box, red the charge lines) Edited January 26, 2011 by NatNat
Mapzter
Charge lines do not exist in IPSC anymore. They were removed in the 2009 rulebook. Now there's only fault lines. Fault lines only matter while you're firing shots.

wanderer
the fault lines extending past the box serves no purpose what so ever, yes you can just walk over them. for what you are trying to achieve you would need walls or at least waist height tape that you physically need to run around. there was really no diff between charge and fault lines which is why they are now combined. NatNat
We didn't actually tried to achive that, the lines were just too long (or the range too small) but than we accepted it and went around the lines. Thx anyways now i know that i can just step over the lines(if not shooting obviously)
