Between the surface finish and hardness of the slide it will dull bits rapidly. Note my avatar. It can be done, but it's almost worth it to send it out (freedom gunworks etc). Just let him know what your looking for or any ideas and he can make it happen. He has my STI slide right now getting tritopped(wont work on a glock). He is also doing something similar to a hipower cut with gills on it.
