match308
Is there any advantage to mount an Eotech on the M4 vs sticking with the ghost ring irons? Edited January 3, 2011 by match308
Charles Bond
It will certainly help you with slugs...........and move you into open.
kurtm
I have to agree with Charles! An Eo-Tech or any red dot makes slugs a pleasure, but in most places...welcome to open! If I were to run an M4 I would strip off all the rails and stuff and find a way to mount a bread sight...just like Charles would... he is right! match308
Thanks guys. I shoot in private matches that are pretty much anything goes. Sorry, shouldve prefaced the quetion. I will mount the Eotech and practice some drills comparing times with irons.
SinistralRifleman
EOtech sits too high on the Benelli M4 with the stock it has. An Aimpoint Micro or Trijicon RMR would both be better choices as they sit much lower.
match308
Roger that. I went with the new Mesa Tactical stock with the adjustable comb. Great sight picture now. EOtech sits too high on the Benelli M4 with the stock it has. An Aimpoint Micro or Trijicon RMR would both be better choices as they sit much lower.
