DyNo!
I gave Safariland a call and the employee on the phone wasn't sure. Would a 5" 2011 with a standard (short) frame fit into a Safariland ALS holster? pjb45
My short frame SV fits in my 560 but will not fit in my other SS holsters. The problem is the frame is wider than a normal Single Stack. IMO: I would not buy it without total confirmation of compatibility.

There's no way I can imagine it fitting but I figured I'd give it a shot. Off to fire up the "easy-bake" oven and make my own holster.
Chuck Anderson
I know Safariland makes a holster for the 2011. Their rep told me and I've seen a couple shooters with it. I just emailed him yesterday for the stock number so I could order one. He's out for the holiday but I'll post it when I hear back.
pjb45
I agree with what you are saying Chuck, I talked with Scott about it and he said they have one. I have not seen it yet nor does Safariland Customer Service Call Center know about it. My understanding is that are making conversion kits for the ELS to retro-fit their holsters without have to drill new holes. Safariland Rocks! Maxximuss
I heard that the issue is with the adjustable rear sight. If you get a fixed rear sight it works.
