Gunnar897
If your 9mm OAL is long, is it necessary to run a spacer? Edited December 10, 2010 by Gunnar897
Jaxshooter
What brand mag tubes, springs and followers are you trying to use?
G-ManBart
Some of that depends on the gun, and some on the tubes. Are they SV or STI tubes? My 9 Major gun will run even factory OAL 9 out of standard STI tubes, but that's probably the exception to the rule. R,
Aircooled6racer
Hello: Stock old style SVI tubes don't need spacers or work done on them to fit plastic grips. The STI mags will work without spacers if the tubes are on the narrow side and you load long at 1.170" or so. If you want to get the most rounds out of the STI tubes then you will need the spacers. I like the metal spacers from Shooters Connection. If all else fails try them and see Thanks, Eric
