686ssr questions

Would like to start shooting a 686ssr in IDPA. Are the cylinders cut for moonclips? or would another type of speedloader be advised?

The biggest reason I'm thinking of this revo,a .357, is because it's the same cal. I plan to carry.

Thanks, Buzz

Speedloaders: Safariland CompIIIs or Jetloaders.

Speedloader holders: BladeTech or ReadyTac are IDPA- legal. Ironically, Safariland's aren't, as they don't cover the body of the speedloader. Anyone know if 4wheelguns makes an IDPA-legal speedloader holder yet?

I emailed Bob Perdue at the beginning of November and he replied that he will have IDPA-legal speedloader holders for Comp IIIs on the site "shortly."

Safariland Comp III speedloader and TKS speedloader holder.

38 special brass and you can be quickly in reloading ( about 2 mm shorter than the 357 )

Replace the original trigger rebound spring with a reduced power one ( 11 or 12 Lb )

you can found it on Midway in aftermarket parts ( Wolff springs )
