trigger

Never measured mine. I did it myself with a 13lb mainspring lots of polishing on the contact points of the trigger hammer strut , hammer, hammer retaining pin, and the sear. Sometimes I use NP3 coated parts but only when I can get them on sale from cdnn. My trigger job is in my opinion as nice as any gunsmith and its easy to do it just takes some time. For the money it would be hard to beat David Olhassos work and he welds up an internal speedbump on the transfer bar. If you want to discuss how to do it pm me your number and I can call you.

Same as BL. 13 lb wolf spring with TWO coils cut off. MOdified the sear and hammer with stone, 400, 600, 1500 sandpaper. High polish with Dremel. 6.5 lbs DA, 2 3/4 lb SA. As minimal creep and overtravel as I think you can get with a DA/SA gun. I have done this to both my 92FS and 90-Two. The trick is to make it smooth. Smooth is "light" No light strikes with Federal, Winchester, Remington, or CCI factory ammo. Not light strikes with Federal or Winchester primers on my reloads. Now, round count and spring wear may change that, not sure yet. A Wolf 13 lb spring with ONE coil cut off should give around a 7 lb DA pull and 3 lb SA pull.

I have a 92FS I carry concealed everyday. With a "D" spring installed and a skeletonized hammer, I finally got to check the trigger weight with a trigger gauge around the 3k mark (I have almost 4k thru it now)....

Here is the info from December 2010 (I did 10 pulls and let the gauge do the averaging ):

92FS in Single Action with D Spring (3000 rounds thru gun): 4lb 9.8oz; 4lb 15.0 oz; 4lb 9.8oz; 4lb 10.7oz; 4lb 10.5 oz; 4lb 10.9oz; 4lb 9.8oz; 4lb 7.9oz; 4lb 9.4oz; 4lb 10.8oz - AVG 4lb 10.4oz

92FS in Double Action with D Spring (3000 rounds thru gun): 8lb 1oz; 8lb 0oz; 8lb 3.0oz; 8lb 6oz; 8lb 2.0oz; 7lb 12.5oz; 8lb 12.5oz; 8lb 7.0oz; 8lb 4.5oz - AVG 8lb 3.5oz

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is another - an M9A1:

M9A1 in Single Action with D Spring (311 Rounds thru gun): 4lb 12.8oz; 4lb 9.1oz; 4lb 11.9oz; 4lb 11.4oz; 4lb 10.2oz; 4lb 9.8oz; 4lb 6.5oz; 4lb 10.6oz; 4lb 11.7 oz; 4lb 11.4oz - AVG 4lb 10.6oz

M9A1 in Double Action with D Spring (311 Rounds thru gun): 8lb 13.5oz; 8lb 14.0oz; 8lb 15.0 oz; 8lb 10.0oz; 8lb 10.0oz; 8lb 2.0oz; 8lb 9.0oz; 8lb 13.0oz; 8lb 7.0oz; 8lb 8.5oz- AVG 8lb 10.5oz

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And this is info from an unmodified 90-Two (which I no longer have)

It's interesting to compare the D spring with an unmodified specimen....

90-Two 9mm in Single Action - No modifications (547 Rounds thru gun): 5lb 8.5oz; 5lb 4.5oz; 5lb 7.5oz; 5lb 3.0oz; 5lb 1.0oz; 5lb 2.0oz; 5lb 3.0oz; 5lb 2.0oz; 5lb 3.0oz; 5lb 3.0oz - AVG 5lb 4.0oz

90-Two 9mm in Double Action - No modifications (547 Rounds thru gun): 11lb 0.5oz; 11lb 5.5oz; 11lb 3.5oz; 11lb 9.5oz; 11lb 11.5oz; 11lb 12.5oz; 11lb 5.0oz - AVG 11lb 7.0oz
