10mmjunkie
The frame on my match is stainless. Having dissimilar metals should not cause any great difficulty as long as they are kept clean and oiled. The slide on the Elite Match is carbon, not stainless as on many "Two tone" pistols and the advantage is there is less galling with this arrangement. If you are going to modify something to make this work, I suggest that modifying the mount would be easier than trying to modify the frame. RIIID
The frames are carbon steel that are hard chromed. Rich
Nealio
All the "Elite" pistols are hard chrome, not stainless. You can always go here for info: http://www.eaacorp.com/handguns-witness-elite.html
