SV Mags to work in STI frame

I just got some new SVI tubes and had to remove a little off the top of the slot with a diamond file

Would it be same to assume any SVI mags, purchased new from SVI, can be fit to an STI frame with minor mods to the STI frame? That is, as long as they met the front to back spec of 1.38" max.

Just as another said. Just modifying mag release slot works.

That lowers the position of the round feeding into the chamber.

I did grinding on the frame and then some grinding on the mags to relieve the bulge in the width.

You just have to square the corners.
