RevolverJockey
I can't seem to find a picture of the difference. I have one on my 610 and would like to get another one for a different revolver and don't know what to order. I called Hogue and they said, "The long one comes back to about the hammer. The short one is a bit shorter". I wasn't about to get anymore out of them. Can anyone shed some light on this or provide a picture they know to be one or the other so I know what I have? Thanks. kevinj308
The short one is 0.98" long and the long one is 1.24" long according to Brownells website. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=24622/Product/S_W_REVOLVER_EXTENDED_CYLINDER_RELEASE_LATCH

robot
None of the Hogue Extended Releases are legal in IDPA unfortunately.
RevolverJockey
This is the one I have. It is checkered, and I wasn't sure where to take measurements from. I would think this is the standard and not the long. Lee
