RUSHARP2 Posted October 21, 2010 Share Posted October 21, 2010 I have a few original 40 mags and a couple of the 10mm mags from Henning, and through a couple of issues, the bodies have developed rust. I am thinking about having them blasted and then coated. Anyone done or tried this? They still function just fine, but look crappy. Any thoughts or experience? Glk21C Posted October 21, 2010 Share Posted October 21, 2010 I had a few Tanfoglio blued mags that I sent to AP&W for hard chroming. Worked out great. jmcmanis Posted October 21, 2010 Share Posted October 21, 2010 I had four mags that needed refinishing. I took them out and bead blasted and parkerized them. They held up for a little while but then they started to rust a little. I just sent them off to Rich over at Canyon Creek to have him hard chrome them. I think he said he charges $15 per.
