cferree
Will Dawson's base pads require tuning to fit in his Ice Magwell? I had to do a little work on some Taylor Freelance pads to make them work. I was wondering how much, if any, filing and sanding would be required to use the Dawson pads. Paul Burtchell
No tuning necessary. Just make sure to order the appropriate base pad for the brand of magazines that you are using. Edited to add: I would highly recommend the "No Gap" version of the Ice magwell. Edited October 17, 2010 by Paul Burtchell

AR Gunner
I've used that set-up without any problems.
muahdib4
I agree, I currently use a Dawson ICE magwell and dawson base pads. No issues with fitment whatsoever. I really like both personally. I haven't tried the others though I've kicked the idea around. Just like Dawson products.
dkemxr
The Heavy Ice with Taylor Freelance basepads work great for me on a 24.
