Phil Dunlop
Hoping someone can tell me how to adjust this timer. I've had it for a few years and it has either been too sensitive and recorded the echo or bullet strike on steel or failed to pick up shots altogether. I just can't seem to find a sweet spot in the adjustment. Has anyone had similar problems and found a cure, advice much appreciated, Thanks, P.D. titandriver
One or two pieces of masking tape over the mike done it for mine!
EricW
Well, I decided to be a little more scientific in how I fixed mine. I used *calibrated* masking tape. The CED sensitivity "issue" is why PACT made their timers so that they reject splits of 0.08 by default (except for the first shot).
Phil Dunlop
Thanks for the replies, the mic is the inverted T between the on/off switch and the start mode button?
ErikW
@#$%! CED timers! Target tape, one or two pieces. And still it's not 100% PACT rejects splits of .08? Weak. But then, I'd rather have a timer that doesn't register echoes and doesn't require re-tuning between Open and Limited guns rather than a timer that can measure the few sub-10 splits I've shot.
