Dan Bone Posted February 8, 2004 Share Posted February 8, 2004 In a horse trading deal last week I ended up with a grab bag full of "stuff". One of the items I originally thought to be a Wilson, 45ACP, 10rd, single stack mag. But as I was studying it I would guess it's either for 38S or it was for .45 that has been stepped on. Feed lips are too narrow for .45. They measure .360 at the rear and .382 at the release point. Tried a couple 38S and they fit real nice. Is there such a beast as a Wilson single stack 9/38S mag? Wilson made/makes a 38 super mag..it is pretty nicely done..you see them on Ebay and other places for about $25 to $28 for new... you probably could sell it off pretty easy for $20 -$22.. Wilson used the black plastic MagPak follower (little ball bearing in there) and if you sanded the bottom of the follower it could go deeper in the tube. Chop the spring and your over 10 rounds.....
