S&WIowegan Posted August 28, 2010 Share Posted August 28, 2010 I have an XD(M) 9mm that is fully customized. I have been shooting it for over a year and it runs and shoots great. I recently acquired an XD(M) 40 S&W which is box stock. My question is: Can I just put my stock 40 top end on the 9mm grip frame and save a trigger job? d_striker Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 There is a portion below where the barrel feed ramp is that is curved. It is larger on the .40 than the 9mm. I have tried the swap and it seems to work as the bullet never even really contacts this portion below the feed ramp. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
