Instead of starting a new thread there and here, I suggest you go to the original Rules Addendum Thread on the IDPA forum and read the 14 pages of discussion there. I'm sure you will find your answers. No one wants to start a discussion in a second thread when there is a 14-page existing thread dedicated to that topic. ...however, in any thread, it's only going to be second and third hand conjecture.
