JaviPT22
My dad shoots a les baer premier II 1911 and uses the older wilson mags. About after a year of shooting without problems, the mags started causing feeding issues. A local gunsmith was able to adjust the feedlips using his special lip forming tools. It's been about a year now, and the problem is coming back. My dad is interested in buying his own tool. Anyone have experience with the Brownell tools? The set sells for $90. Only one bad review on the Brownell's site. Any help would be appreciated.
yoshidaex
Call wilson and see what they say. Usually they'll warranty the magazines.
EkuJustice
Never used the tool but I would just give wilson a call and see what they will do for him. EXCELLENT customer service
Duane Thomas
Call Wilson. From every piece of feedback I've ever heard on their customer service I would be absolutely amazed if they didn't have you return the mags for brand-new replacements, for free. Makes a lot more sense that spending $90 on a tool to keep bending on the mags you already have, yes?
