TxD
I am trying to get my Extrema 2 set up for 3gun limited. I have the extended tube, (10 Rd- need to make a plug) extended bolt release etc. I am looking for advice on loading port mods. In the following question I am calling the bolt release claw, the part that captures and holds the shells in the magazine tube. There is a small protrusion just above the bolt release claw that kicks the shell off center when re-loading through the port. Can this be cut down? I realize that it shouldn't be completely removed as as you would be pushing on the bolt release claw with each shell when loading. I have seen pics of the Benelli port mods in this forum but no Extrema. Does anyone have pics of a modified Extrema loading port? Are there other recommended mods? Thanks in advance. whiskey1
Try a PM to Benelli2. He ran an Extrema to good effect for a while. I understand though that he now has the first Benelli Vinci ever set up for our game...He seems to know a little about a lot.
caspian guy
You might also try a pm to stefan. I believe he still runs an extrema...

I've borrowed and used an Extrema 2 and it is really slick to load with either hand. If I could afford one, I'd get it. My own FN SLP on the other hand, tried to amputate my left thumb several times until I got the lifter welded.
