mdschappell
To all of you guys using the Taylor Freelance extensions for your M&P's, do you have to modify your followers such as shortening the legs ? One of my mags I can get 23 rounds into (9mm), but it is difficult and practicaly impossible to reload into the gun with the slide in battery. My other mag I can only get 22 into, the 23rd just won't go in no way, no how. I am using the longer springs offered by SSS, not the factory springs. 22 rounds can be loaded into both mags without a lot of trouble, and are easy to reload into the gun. I have a third extension, just waiting on the mags from Smith and Wesson to put it on.
High Lord Gomer
I don't use the TF but I have several of the Arredondo extensions. Even though I can get 23 in some of them, I always just load 22 unless it is a 24 round stage.
OPENB
With the factory springs and followers, either basepad will give 23 easily. I added the SSS/ISMI springs, and can get 22 easily, 23 in a couple mags, and not in a couple others. With the factory springs, I did not always get last round slide lock, but it always fed the last round.
