Shooting in tubes

Just curious.. what exactly causes the gun to not eject spent brass when shooting in tubes?

How can this problem be remedied?

Thanks

Not sure I understand your question completely. Do you mean when shooting through a barrel? In some of those cases, the gun hits the side (or top) of the barrel recoiling and that throws the timing off or the brass bounces right back into the ejection port.

Remedy? Stay back and shoot through the barrel whilst keeping the gun out of the barrel.

+1 on stay outta there. Discounting the bumping and brass bouncing back in, the jam could be caused by short arming the gun, aka limp noodle grip. You generally see more of this kind of LNG jam on weak hand courses of fire.

The jams could also be due to the slide hitting he top of the barrel/tube during recoil. If the gun hits the top of the barrel/tube it will interrupt the cycling of the gun casing a jam. Keep in mind, this usually happens faster than you can see so it may not be obvious at first.
