elenius
With SMKs going for around $89/500, I was wondering if anyone has tried these. $63/500 or $540/5000 shipped at Wideners. http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm?item_id=8977&dir=278|281|727 I found an old thread here where someone claimed these are Prvi bullets. twodownzero
They are Prvi bullets, and they shoot okay, but don't expect them to shoot like Sierras or anything. I haven't used the 69 grain .223s, but I have used the 168 grain .30s and 75 grain .223s and that's my experience with them.
G-ManBart
They're worth a try...your barrel might like them. My bolt gun (polite term for sniper rifle) likes their 168gr BTHP just as well as it likes Sierra 168gr BTHPs. Then again, that rifle seems to like anything pretty well. elenius
I don't shoot that well anyway, so I might not notice the difference I think I'll give them a try.
Religious Shooter
The 75's grouped better for me at a 100 yards than the 69's from four different DPMS barrels. The 75's were stable with my two DPMS 1x9 twist barrels and (of course) my two DPMS 1x8 barrels.
2MoreChains
I'm working my way thru a 500 round pack of those with pretty decent results so far. I'm loading them over 24.8 grs of Reloader-15, and shooting them out of an 18" 1:8 twist barrel. Best groups off a bench rest so far has been 1" at 200 ids, but the norm has been more like 2" groups @ 200 yds.
