unionman
Has anyone used VV 340 in a 9mm. Besides the high cost of the powder. everything else I have read appears to make it a top notch powder. Thanks for the expert thoughts.
AzYooper
I have used 340 for quite some time in my old open 38 and like it a lot. I also used it for 9mm and 45 when I break those calibers out. I have not tried too many other powders (AutoComp, Titegroup, Win 231) and would not classify myself as an expert, but I have always gone back to the 340. It has been cleaner than the others and had minimal flash at night.
JorDanO
I use it for my minor load. It's has very consistent velocities and burns clean.
Darrell
4.7 -5.0 of N340 with a 115 xtp at 1.085 is a very accurate load the bullseye shooters are using. It is not a light load as it runs 1200-1250 FPS, but is extremely accurate with a 1:32 KKM Barrel.
