Steve Anderson
During the dvd extras for S.W.A.T. , we see Colin Farrel walking badass away from a target with his 1911...he goes to unload it, racks the slide, catches the round- Then realizes he didn't take the mag out. Racks it again to slide lock, then keeps walking badass. Not a bad movie, lotsa gunplay. SA
Jake Di Vita
At least he realized that not taking the mag out chambered another round.
Thomas Moore
i just bought the dvd myself and loved the extra stuff it had on various weapons used in the movie.
RHall
The movie was not so bad. At least they looked like they knew what they were doing.
Duane Thomas
For another movie where it looks like they know what they're doing, check out Proof of Life. According to the director's commentary on the DVD, Russell Crowe is very weapons knowledgeable (I wonder if he's a bona fide gun nut?), and had definite opinions on how to handle and fire his M4 in that film. You'll notice, in the final firefight scene, that even some of the good guys, with a higher level of training than the guerrillas, start firing full auto. But Terry (Russell Crowe), former SAS, and Dino (David Caruso), ex-Delta Force, always use semi-auto, one and two shot bursts. Excellent!
ErikW
He and his bud also knew enough to bring a shotgun to a pistol fight, in the scene with all the cash on the table.
Vlad
Accoring to people who say they worked security for him during filming of "A Beautiful Mind" Crow is very much a gun guy. Vlad
Jake Di Vita
The more I find out about russell crowe, the more I like him.
George
Agreed, Proof Of Life had the best gun handling I have ever seen come out of hollywood. SWAT wasn't too bad either. Most everything else makes me wince when I see it. -- Regards,
