Joe4d Posted March 11, 2010 Share Posted March 11, 2010 quite a bit from the sides, I believe about 1/8th inch. I ended up fitting a S&A. The other problem you will have is the magazines, PAds that work with the Dawson wont fit the box or are actually inside the well. The Dawsont is a great easy to add on mag funnel, as long as you use Dawson Pads and arnt trying to use it in IDPA. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ParaGunner Posted March 11, 2010 Share Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) You can still use the stock basepads with a little sanding. I think the DP magwell comes with instuctions on how to modify the factory basepads. I modified mine and added a brass extention painted black on the factory basepads. I added the brass ext to seat the mag with the magwell,if you take a 1\8 inch off the magwell you probably don't need extentions.Works like a charm,never had any issues.
