Intel6 Posted March 3, 2010 Share Posted March 3, 2010 I don't think I have ever seen any other type of speed loader for AR rounds. I don't think there is enough demand as most people don't even know the AR round exists. I have a few of the HKS versions and they are barely useable. With the rounds being so short the aluminum post in the center of the loader touches the center of the ejector when the rounds are just barely in the cylinder. It works but after I tried mine a fe times I threw them in a box. HKS just used their normal speedloader made for full length cartridges when they really needed to shorten up the body of the loader to make the AR version work better.
