outerlimits
Like many of you, i have a corner of my safe that contains things that haven't seen the light of day in decades. retirement means time, so last week i ventured in those corners. found two of my old favorites that brought back so many memories. a winchester model 12 pump in 12 gauge and a winchester model 61 .22LR pump. took them to the garage and spent hours disassembling and cleaning them. had to resort to the internet to find detail disassembly on the 61...i know i never took the bolt out of that one before. amazing and intricate designs and action. so used to AR's and 1911/2011 i had forgot how sleek these old workhorses were. but that wasn't enough. had to shoot them, so off to the range. shot 3 boxes of birdshot hosing poppers with the shotgun. wow, that was a blast. but the model 61 was so much fun. damn thing shoots great. trick adjustable peep sight and runs forever. think i shot 1/2 a brick. strongly recommend you guys hit your safes...memories are hiding... boz1911
I have Ruger 44 mag that my ex gave me for Christmas way back. It's a safe queen but I will never sell it because it reminds me that we did actually have some good times during our marriage.
