200 grn / Titegroup load?

I came up with 5.0 to 5.2 grains for 45 ACP and 200gr RNFP. Precision does not recommend Tightgroup for their coated bullet but the smoke is not too bad outdoors. I also used it to finish off a supply of 200gr LSWC too. I only shoot outdoors. I needed 5.2 to make my old west german sig 220 accurate but tighter guns/barrels may work at 4.5 grains or whatever.

I put my tightgroup in the closet when a supply of solo 1000 came. It does not feel as snappy and feels softer. Smoke is less in hot dry weather too. I'll eventually use up the tightgroup on lead if I stay too cheap to buy jacketed bullets.

If your looking for a good load with 200gr Precision two I use are

4.3gr of Clays soft and clean

4.7gr of WST clean but not as soft.

Both approved by Precision. OAL is 1.22

Based on what I have seen with TiteGroup I would probably start at 4.5gr in the cool weather. It gets pretty strong when the temps drop below 50.
