DyNo!
http://www.trijicon.com/user/parts/products1.cfm?PartID=810&back_row=0&categoryID=13 It seems like with that little window, your dot would be jumping in and out of it... I might be getting a new red dot and the idea of one that doesn't use batteries appeals to me...
Jadeslade
It's about the same size as a JP or Docter. The dot is amber. If the dot were red I would say do it.
Supermoto
I ran a Jpoint on my Open gun for about 8 months and run one on a Modified gun now. No issues with losing the dot. but I did not like the amber dot
DyNo!
I'm guessing the amber dot washes out on light brown targets?
Supermoto
I'm not able to pick up the amber as well as the red. I tried a c-more sts also. The dot was brighter and crisper, but still seemed harder to see. I have gone back to a standard c-more on all my open guns except the modified. A few people I shoot with said they saw little difference between the color of the c-more and the c-more sts. But I did.
Jadeslade
I'm guessing the amber dot washes out on light brown targets? Maybe-but for me it is just not visible as well as the red -comparing a JPoint and the RMR. I have a regular Trijicon reflex that has an amber 6.5MOA dot and it works great on carbines, but the RMR is not as intense.
