NMBOpen
I didn't need to use the "Run as Administrator" when in reinstalled after upgrading from Vista to Win 7. Installed 3.0 from CD, then downloaded and applied 3.06 update.
wgnoyes
I didn't need to use the "Run as Administrator" when in reinstalled after upgrading from Vista to Win 7. Installed 3.0 from CD, then downloaded and applied 3.06 update. Hmm. I do, else it still won't connect to or create any new match database files. I didn't run it under Vista in production myself (that is, actually scored matches with it) but I did test and document how to install on Vista at http://www.uspsa.org/ezwinscore/#vista, and the problems and procedures were the same for Windows 7 as for Vista. Now, there's also something called User Account Controls in Vista and Windows 7, and you can adjust that to various levels to affect how much of a "nanny" windows it going to be ("Oh dear, this nasty program could update your computer; do you REALLY want to run it?" [wring hands, etc) and you can set it to where it pretty much goes away and you can do what you like unharrassed.
